In my ten plus years of playing the game and coaching football athletes, Zion Sorani is by far one of the most dedicated, gifted, and self-motivating athletes that I’ve ever come across. I’ve caught balls from Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles, played alongside NCAA, and NFL legends such as Pat White and Rob Gronkowski and played behind future Hall of Famers such as Larry Fitzgerald. Zion Sorani possesses a work ethic that rivals them all.

Zion is one of the most underrated athletes I’ve worked with. Reason being: the qualities that make him outstanding sometimes aren’t tangible things. For example, character, accountability, work ethic, leadership are qualities that are hard to quantify. Additionally, his attention to detail has made him precise in route running. He has put in time to improve speed and it is under my belief that he has high Division 1 potential.

I have been coaching football for over 20 years at various levels and I can say it is rare to find a kid that has the drive in continuing to improve than Zion. He is a kid that has made the sacrifices to sharpen his skills through putting in the work. His effort level and willingness to work has always been impressive but he is also just as good a person as he is a player.
